Linux Magazines,,
* I am worried. Why? Because, Whenever, the new issue of so called Linux Magazine in the stand, it comes with crap! You may have seen PCQLinux 2006 and the thread ‘PCQLinux 2006 Lousy’ on ILUG-BOM mailing list. LFY always shouts to be Linux magazine and always comes with ancient age distro’s updates and Live CDs that is 100% closed source! Why they simply can’t put Debian GNU/Linux, Gentoo or Slackware? God knows!
The ilug-bom thread had very little to do with whether pcqlinux 2006 sucked or not – all it basically stated was that it didn’t do what the original poster had expected (which seemed to have been FC5, or something close). PCQLinux 2006 is CentOS 4.x.

Yes I agree to your worry.
LFY although has improved in content the cd contains gives somewhat older versions of distros.
Slackware has never been given on the cd with LFY.
Also it would be good if they also include the not so popular distros
which are ranked above #20 at distrowatch E.g. Slax,GoblinX etc

I have looked at thread twice and nobody even noted about CentOS 4.x
Perhaps, I need to ask z00dax more about this, how they crap the decent distribution.
Hope that PCQuest people understand something from the post and will make it better next time..
