ASUS Eee Laptop

* Laptop running Linux is yet dream for me! ASUS launched Eee laptop and PC and it is perfect for people like me :P And it can be hacked to do anything. Its fun!

  1. I’m impesses that Asus has actually launched the eee in India so soon and that is has been launched at pretty much the same price as in the US, give or take a couple of dollars ;) . If you’re considering this, you might wanna read the this article:

    I do agree with most of the comments made by the author, especially the 10″ screen. That would have definitely sealed the deal.

  3. The problem is that this baby costs Rs.17,000+ in India. So if someone can manage to get their hands on the $200 piece in US, its a bargain.

  4. Hey, my boss has it i.e. 4G model. Its cool, we are playing with it, installed ubuntu on it, will give try with XP now. 4GB SD card is not available so will have to wait for some time.

  5. Tried Asus Eee and HCL’s MiLeap X & Y. Both are ubercool. Liked Asus more though. Looking forward to get my hands on one of them
