How to kill good ideas?
* Derived from yesterday’s ‘Developing Leadership Skills’ training at AMA:
- It’s against company policy
- Doesn’t fit in system
- It will never be approved
- The timing is just not right
- It didn’t work before
- Too wild
- We’re not yet ready for that
- I will think about it
- Put something in writing and get back to me
- Let’s form a committee
Heh, can you believe it… my boss has actually managed to use each and every one of those with me in the past one year
