* While chatting, Samay told me that he has started his company. I was so excited to hear this. A just passedout student in Ahmedabad can do this? I visited their place and its real Garage kind of startup. They are still setting up things but I loved their energy and ideas. Thanks Samay, Tanmay and Puja (or Pooja). However, their company’s name is ‘Entourage Solution’ and I just warned Samay that Entourage is also name of Microsoft’s product

* Updated many pending packages, specially for debian-in repository. Fontypython is waiting for some testing from user side and will upload 0.4 soon after that..

* I got news that new iStore has opened at Gulmahor Park Mall and went blindly to get Mini-DVI to VGA adapter for my Macbook. And, they don’t have that available.

Well, time wasn’t wasted and we enjoyed children’s dance competition and did useless shopping and checkedout some idot boxes (which we are planning to purchase next month).

* No, not that kind of good news, but its building number of my new home K-5 this time!

* Auto-rickshaw in Ahmedabad: Powered by pollution free Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) and Free Linux.

*  On Sunday, I attended BarCamp and gave small talk on GujaratiLexicon.com. Session was well received and there were number of good questions and feedback from people. Apart from learning something new and meeting new people, nice campus of IIM-A was attraction for me.

Some bits from event,

1. IIMA campus is running Windows network, No wifi was provided during camp (bah!)

2. Came to know about osx86 project

3. Food was good, specially: Samosa!

4. CMS was hot topic during camp

5. Discussion kind of session were on top rather than showing slides (and, I had to use Windows machine as projector cable was glued with monitor there!)

6. Met Harit and friends and had nice discussion from how to configure GPRS connection in Linux to how to bundle Java application on Windows

I left event around 4 PM after Tea break.

* Life is normal now at my dear city, Ahmedabad or Amadavad (Thats what I call it). We (Me, Kavin and K) arrived here at Sunday morning safely.

Now, its Rain which is making me sick after Vodaphone server is down and I can’t recharge K’s mobile at moment.

* Personal:

- I am almost settled after one month at Ahmedabad and now early looking for new rented house (ie home), 1 or 2BHK.

- Kavin got minor electric shock while playing with switch and socket. Fortunately, my wife was holding him and doctor told that there is nothing to worry. He is `difficult` to handle and long examination of my fatherhood will start soon when they will be here at Ahmedabad.

- Work is going great. I have very good team now!

* Debian:

- Sandro Tosi will be co-maintainer or probably take over sitecopy package from me and will put it under collab-maint repository. Since, I mentioned that I am bit busy with settling down here and it will not be great if such useful package requires time to fix bugs with patches available already.

- D-I translation of Level 1 and 2 for Gujarati language are again 100%. Hunting Level 3 now.

- I am not still able to install Debian properly on my macbook! Only useful source for this is, http://wiki.debian.org/MacBook Any other pointers/docs will be

* Many many returns of the day to my dear Kavin, his birthday was on 16th and we had very small party too. Some pics are uploaded to my flickr and thanks to barkha for giving her digicam for capturing great moments.

Now back to Ahmedabad and waiting for rain to use my new umbrealla.

* This means, I will miss Kavin. He has 1/2 year birthday today!!
