- Diary?

I always gets good (sometime even creative too) ideas during bath, loo or breakfast. And, from sometime, I started to maintain ‘Crazy Morning Ideas’ diary with me.

And these Google’ internal tools are also interesting..

* Personal:

- I am almost settled after one month at Ahmedabad and now early looking for new rented house (ie home), 1 or 2BHK.

- Kavin got minor electric shock while playing with switch and socket. Fortunately, my wife was holding him and doctor told that there is nothing to worry. He is `difficult` to handle and long examination of my fatherhood will start soon when they will be here at Ahmedabad.

- Work is going great. I have very good team now!

* Debian:

- Sandro Tosi will be co-maintainer or probably take over sitecopy package from me and will put it under collab-maint repository. Since, I mentioned that I am bit busy with settling down here and it will not be great if such useful package requires time to fix bugs with patches available already.

- D-I translation of Level 1 and 2 for Gujarati language are again 100%. Hunting Level 3 now.

- I am not still able to install Debian properly on my macbook! Only useful source for this is, http://wiki.debian.org/MacBook Any other pointers/docs will be

* Many many returns of the day to my dear Kavin, his birthday was on 16th and we had very small party too. Some pics are uploaded to my flickr and thanks to barkha for giving her digicam for capturing great moments.

Now back to Ahmedabad and waiting for rain to use my new umbrealla.

And, I still don’t have Debian machine. The option is to get al-cheapo ASUS eee PC quickly to start whatever Debian work I can do or my dream is to wait and have Macbook

* Sometime back regarding my experiences with redbus.in, I happily wrote post how to not lose your customer? post. Now yesterday evening, I felt bored and tried my hands on indiaplaza.in shopping website and ordered two usb laptop lights (without having laptop!!). I was happy that site was accepting debit card and transaction was done smooth, but after finishing icici payment procedure, order was showing ‘Pending Authorization’. So, I tried again and checked in my bank account - great, money was drawn two times and indiaplaza.in was showing ‘Pending Authorization’ from ‘My Accounts’ section. I have written long mail to them. Awaiting action and 4 usb laptop light. I will give it to whoever wish on FCFS basis

Update: Order is now confirmed and ready for shipping. Good things comes for those who waits!

* Just feeling so good at /home. I reached home (Mumbai) after 18 hours of road travel by bus. Funny thing was that my son refused to recognized me He has become so naughty too.

Fixing my system which wasn’t updated from last 3 months at moment!

* I had really nice experience yesterday (oppose to my usual real life experiences nowadays). I was trying to get ticket to Mumbai (home). Since, I don’t own credit card (and wish to in future), I was not able to book air tickets, agent was option but I wanted it as early as possible. There wasn’t any train ticket, so I took brave step and decided to go by road (bus). Checked redbus.in and found that tickets are available and they are giving facility to book ticket by debit card too! I try to book ticket but somehow it was failed transaction But, to my surprise, I got call from redbus customer care and they told me that if I can book ticket on phone. I said, oh yes! And, today I get my ticket delivered to office.

I am now loyal customer of redbus

* I have no longer pure Debian machine access available to me for unknown time So, obviously, I will not able to update my packages (most packages need no update and migrated into testing already, some are waiting for sponsor to uploads). All are under LowThresholdNmu. Feel free to do NMU without asking me, if RC/RG bug appears I will have IRC/Mail etc access though.
